"Last Sabbath our Kearney, NE Church held a special Christmas program during the Worship Hour," shares Susan Sandoval. "The majority of the congregation were involved sharing their many musical and storytelling abilities. As a part of our worship, Patti Nicholls reinstated her membership through Profession of Faith. We are all so delighted to have her as a part of the family," says Susan.

"On January 17th Sabbath our Kearney, NE Church had a fun filled evening!" says Tanya Sandoval. "We started off with a chili and pie cook off and anxiously awaited as the judges made their decision for the top three winners! It was a treat to be able to taste all the delicious chili and pies. We have great chefs in Kearney! We then watched a movie and enjoyed fellowship time. It's always a good time when we get together," says Tanya.

"I had the privilege of visiting my family in Malaysia for the first time in three years. I am glad to affirm that the Lord has been good to our family and has blessed us in various ways. During my vacation I had the privilege of preaching seven sermons on five Sabbaths in two different languages, held two seminars on Christ Our Righteousness, officiated in a wedding and baptized three of my family members into the Lord's kingdom. It was a fruitful working vacation," says Pastor Lawrence.

"Last Sabbath the youth of our Kearney church held the church service and what a treat it was!" says Tanya Sandoval. "They made road signs posters based on Jeremiah 31:21 and shared a message of what the sign represented. It was wonderful to hear their love for Jesus and the hope they have in Him. We also enjoyed special music pieces on piano, trumpet and guitar from our amazingly talented kids. They sure are all great young leaders!" says Tanya.
"It was a busy weekend for our Kearney, NE Church," says Tanya Sandoval. "Friday evening, Evin and I invited our youth group over to our home for vespers and we played the Bible edition Apples to Apples. The kids sure are an energetic bunch! On Sabbath, the four churches in our district gathered together for our High Sabbath, hosted by the Broken Bow congregation. Our guest speaker Lonnie Hetterle, V.P. for Education from the Rocky Mountain Conference taught us about the living water that Christ offers us. It was so nice to be able to visit with our church family and get to know Lonnie and his wife. What an enriching weekend!" says Tanya.
